 "I hope the best for them both," Bommai joins the Congress party In the battle to become the next chief minister of Karnataka, Congress leaders Siddaramaiah and D K Shivakumar received "all the best" wishes from outgoing chief minister Basavaraj Bommai on Sunday.  In order to discuss government formation with leaders and get their opinions on the Chief Ministerial nominee, the newly elected Congress MLAs in Karnataka are convening in this location this evening. Strong contenders and front-runners for the coveted job include Siddaramaiah, the outgoing Assembly's leader of opposition, and D. K. Shivakumar, president of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee.  Bommai told reporters, "I hope the best for both of them. (PTI)
